Risk Disclosure

International payments carry risks that are outside any single party's control. These are the ones you should understand before transacting.

Exchange rate risk

Exchange rates fluctuate continuously. A rate quoted to you is valid only for the stated period. If a quote expires, the replacement rate may be better or worse.

Cost risk

Fees apply and are disclosed before you confirm. Intermediary or receiving institutions may apply their own charges that DFX Globals does not control and cannot always predict.

Timing and completion risk

  • Transfers may be delayed by payment method, destination, banking hours or provider processing
  • Transactions may be held for compliance review
  • Transactions may be rejected where they cannot be completed lawfully or within provider rules
  • Estimated delivery times are not guarantees unless explicitly provided by the provider

Availability risk

Provider availability varies. Corridors, currencies and payment methods may be restricted, suspended or withdrawn, and country restrictions may apply.

Refund risk

Refunds and cancellations depend on the transaction status and provider rules. Where a payout has completed, funds may not be recoverable.
