Foreign exchange with the cost shown up front

Know the rate, the markup and the fee before you decide. Every DFX Globals quote separates the reference rate from our markup and from third-party costs, so the price you see is the price you can check.

How an FX quote is built

A quote begins with a reference exchange rate for the currency pair. DFX Globals applies a configured FX markup to that reference rate to produce the rate you are offered. Separately, a service fee, the provider's transaction fee and the payment processing cost are itemised.

  • Reference rate for the currency pair
  • DFX Globals FX markup, expressed in basis points
  • DFX Globals service fee
  • Provider transaction fee
  • Payment processing cost

No live FX provider is connected yet. Rates shown on this website are indicative reference figures for illustration and are not an offer to transact.

Quote validity

Once a live rate provider is connected, each quote will carry an expiry window determined by that provider — typically between 30 and 60 seconds. When a quote expires you will be asked to refresh it before continuing, and the new rate will apply.

Every quote is stored with its rate source, rate timestamp, markup, fees, provider and expiry so that pricing can be reconstructed and audited later.

Larger conversions

Conversions of USD 25,000 or more are handled as custom quotes rather than automatically priced. Our team reviews the corridor, timing and settlement route, then issues pricing in writing.
