Acceptable Use Policy

This policy sets out what the DFX Globals platform may and may not be used for. Breaching it can result in suspension, transaction rejection and reporting to authorities where required.

Prohibited activity

  • Money laundering, terrorist financing or sanctions evasion
  • Fraud, deception or misrepresentation of identity or purpose
  • Payments involving sanctioned individuals, entities, vessels or territories
  • Unlicensed financial services, including unlicensed money transmission
  • Illegal goods and services, including controlled substances and weapons
  • Payments related to human trafficking, exploitation or child abuse material
  • Gambling where not lawfully licensed in both jurisdictions
  • Digital asset trading or settlement, which is not enabled on this platform

Restricted activity

Some activities are permitted only with additional documentation and approval, including high-value trade payments, payments to newly created beneficiaries, third-party payments and industries classified as higher risk by our compliance policy or by the connected provider.

Enforcement

We monitor transactions for compliance with this policy. Where a breach is suspected we may pause the transaction, request information, decline the transaction or suspend the account, and we may be legally required to report it.
